You must write a proposal for each CAS project that you set out to do. This shows that you are involved in planning and you are aware of what the activity is and what you hope to learn from it.
Approval of all CAS activities is based on the following requirements:
- Real, purposeful activities, with significant outcomes
- Personal challenge – tasks must extend the student and be achievable in scope
- Thoughtful consideration, such as planning, reviewing progress, reporting
- Reflection on outcomes and personal learning
Your CAS proposal must explain the following things:
- Activity: Describe the activity you wish to undertake.
- Goals: What are your personal goals for this activity? What do you anticipate learning?
- Impact: Who will benefit from this activity (could by you) and how?
- Timeline: Where, how often, and for how long will the activity take place? (specific dates, if possible)
- Supervisor: Name, and contact information of adult supervisor (NOT FAMILY)
