MUN stands for Model United Nations. In
this activity, students get to deal with global problems and issues, and debate
or discuss from the perspectives of different countries. The purpose of MUN is
to come up with possible solutions that may help and solve the global problems.
My personal goal is to be able to stand in front of the crowd, and present or
state my opinions well. I will be knowledgeable of the global problems and to
develop debate, and public speaking skills. First, I will be one of the people who
will benefit. I can learn and develop skills that I want to. Listening to
others is as important as presenting one’s opinion. In MUN, both of them are found.
Also, not only listening and speaking, but we have to think critically to find
a solution. MUN will be continued until we have an assembly or a conference,
which I think will be held either in January or March. The supervisor is Mr.
Morris.
